What we collect
- Listing content you submit — display name, destination URL, and optional image — which is public by design.
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only receive confirmation of the amount paid and Stripe’s session/payment identifiers.
- Abuse-prevention hashes. To rate-limit claims and boosts, and to keep a record that you accepted our Acceptable Use Policy, we store a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address — never the raw address, and never linked to public analytics or displayed anywhere.
- Reports submitted via the “Report this spot” button are stored for our moderation team only and are never shown publicly.
What we don’t collect
We do not store raw IP addresses or email addresses for analytics purposes, and public supporter counts and activity feeds never expose who paid — only the spot, the amount, and the timestamp.
Public data
A claimed spot’s display name, image, rank, total, boost count, and outbound click count are all public by design — that’s the product. Don’t submit anything you don’t want publicly visible.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payment processing, Neon for data storage, and Clerk for admin authentication (public visitors never authenticate with anyone). Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
